Student Organizations

Benefiting one and all.

When you get involved in a industry-related student group, you network with like-minded students and building confidence by sharing your unique gifts. And that's just the beginning. Other benefits include:

  • Engage with a diverse group of people
  • Gain practical experience in a safe environment
  • Develop your leadership skills
  • Break from your studies
  • Build your resume
  • Give back to the community, and
  • Have a good time!

Here are some of the top student organizations at the Dedman School of Hospitality:

Club Managers Association of America (CMAA)

The student chapter of the CMAA gives students opportunities to explore the club management profession and to develop as leaders. Members get first-hand experience participating in club tours, shadowing trips and fundraising activities. Attending the CMAA's national and world conference allows its members to learn management skills and meet with industry leaders.
